" Sentence According To Structure"

      Such a long time that we didnt update our blog..well everyone know nearly to semester end we got so much things to carried out. Perhaps we still not too late to update our blog.
      Ok lets go back to study what we have learn in tech com class.After phonetic symbol we learn sentence structure that have 4 main kind of sentence, which is
a) simple  = content 1 ic ( independent clauses)
b) compound = content 2 ic 
c) complex = 1 ic and 1 or more dc ( dependent clauses )
d) compound/complex = 2 or more ic and 1 dc

Independent Clauses is a subject that stand alone
Dependent Clauses is a subject that cannot stand alone

example of Simple sentences
muslim people are fasting                                       muslim people = subject , are = verb
Some students like to study in the mornings.         some student = subject  , like = verb
Juan and Arturo play football every afternoon.      Juan and Arturo = subject , play = verb
Alicia goes to the library and studies every day.    Alicia = subject  , goes and studies =verb

example of Compound sentences
A compound sentence contains two independent clauses joined by a coordinator. The coordinators are as follows: for, and, nor, but, or, yet,and so.

 I tried to speak Spanish, and my friend tried to speak English.
Alejandro played football, so Maria went shopping. 
Mila doing homework, but siti going to sleep

example of Complex sentences
A complex sentence has an independent clause joined by one or more dependent clauses. A complex sentence always has a subordinator such as because, since, after, although, or when or a relative pronoun such as that, who, or which.

When he handed in his homework, he forgot to give the teacher the last page.
The teacher returned the homework after she noticed the error.
The students are studying because they have a test tomorrow.
After they finished studying, Juan and Maria went to the movies.

example of Compound/Complex sentences
sentences containing adjective clauses (or dependent clauses) are also complex because they contain an independent clause and a dependent clause.

Although most terrorist believe the decrease will come soon, customer confident remain strong and most business have not initiated significant restructures.

IC = customer confident remain strong
         have not initiated
DC = most terrorist believe

By learning this sentences structure i have more confident to make a sentences and  improve my knowledge in english especially to create a good sentences.
